Review: Sunday Golf’s Big Rig Cart Bag

Posted onMay 21, 2024March 27, 2025 Big Rig Cart Bag, Big Rig Cart Bag Sunday Golf, Big Rig Golf Bag review, cart bags, golf bag reviews, golf bags, golf equipment, high quality cart bags, Review Big Rig Cart Bag Sunday Golf, Sunday Golf, Sunday golf review

My all-time favorite car salesman line when describing a hot car is “It has all the candy, my friend”.

The typically verbose sales guy or gal is implying the auto is overflowing with amazing accessories and you’d be a fool not to sign and drive.

Well, Sunday Golf’s new Big Rig Cart Bag has “all the candy” and more accessories than I’ve ever seen on a cart bag. And if you need a new cart bag, you’d be a fool not to consider the Big Rig.

Drum roll, please!

The Big Rig Features:

Pockets, Pockets and More Pockets

Are you ready for this? The Big Rig has 12 different pockets, including, my favorite, the  7-can Frosty Pocket where the Golf Travel Guru stores his chilled swing oil. Other practical pockets are the two large vented apparel pockets, velour-lined valuable pocket, magnetic range finder pocket, oversized ball pocket, smell-proof organizer pocket and two easy-access zip pockets.

Lightweight and Functional

The Big Rig weighs in at 7 lbs. and can hold up to 14 clubs. It’s absolutely amazing you can incorporate all these accessories and still weigh in less than many infants.

Superb Dividers

Features 14 dividers with a dedicated putter well and can accommodate clubs with jumbo grips.

Color Selections

The Big Rig is available in four colors – Matte Black, Midnight Green, Toasted Almond and Heather Gray

High Quality Construction

The zippers are top notch and work flawlessly. The bag itself is made with high quality nylon that is light and pliable.

Other Candy

  • Single-Strap Carry Setup
  • Built-In Carry Handle
  • Velcro Glove Holder
  • Interior Tee and Ball Marker Compartments
  • Rainhood Included

Price

Price is $309.99.

Free Lifetime Warranty

Sunday Golf warrants their products for a lifetime period from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

Guru Verdict

This is the creme de la creme of cart bags. While circa $300 is a lot to pay for a golf bag, there’s lots of value in the Big Rig. It has storage space galore and is extremely lightweight so it doesn’t seem like you’re loading a ton of bricks onto the back of the golf cart. I’ll be honest, in the past few years it seems like I carry more and more stuff in my golf bag — from an expansive ball inventory, cell phone, range finder and car keys to brewskis, Uncrustables and Snickers Bars. The Big Rig is the perfect solution for golfers like me who want to max out the golf experience when riding in a golf cart.
