Golf icon Tiger Woods and entertainer extraordinaire Justin Timberlake are teaming up to open a new bar in St Andrews, Scotland.
The Fife Council recently granted them planning permission to transform the New Picture House Cinema into a sports bar.
The bar, T-Squared Social, will the second by the dynamic duo. The first is the T-Squared Social in central Manhattan in New York City.
T-Squared Social is owned by NEXUS Luxury Collection, a global real estate development and hospitality management company, 8AM Golf, Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake.
St Andrews T-Squared
TW & JT aren’t messing around with their new entertainment gastro pub located in the New Picture House Cinema on North Street in the “Home of Golf”.
Expected to Open Spring 2025 or earlier, the expansive complex will encompass high open ceilings and luxury furniture and appointments.
Inspired by upscale lounges, cocktail bars, and restaurants, T-Squared Social will include dining and viewing areas with multiple low- and high-top tables; a variety of plush lounge areas; and an incredible viewing experience to enjoy sporting events around the world. Interactive games include duckpin bowling lanes, state-of-the-art Full Swing simulators, and Dartsee dart lanes.
Woods and Timberlake will permeate the space with large-format glossy photographs of Woods on the golf course and Timberlake in concert adorning the walls; customized golf bags inscribed with their names; and a selection of branded-merchandise and coasters etched with their signatures.
After undergoing extensive renovations to support its new offerings, T-Squared Social will maintain one of the movie screen theaters for watching theatrical films, live-to-cinema events and marquee TV programming.
The St Andrews’ T-Squared Social will reportedly include the New Picture House as part of its name once it opens.

“I have been fortunate enough to enjoy many special moments here at St. Andrews,” said Woods in a media release. “We all wanted to bring our T-Squared Social concept to St. Andrews to add to the local community and be a welcoming place for those living in St. Andrews and for visitors alike.”
Woods added, “The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas. Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favorite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and NEXUS gave us the platform to bring our idea to life in New York City and now St. Andrews.”
Commented Timberlake: “I’ve come to St. Andrews many times to play golf including to compete in The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. I’m honored to be able to invest in the town and bring our second T-Squared Social here. Our new venue is so much more than a typical sports bar experience – it’s a place you can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
T-Squared NYC
Opened on September 20, 2023, the 22,000 square-foot T-Squared Social, situated between Bryant Park and Grand Central Station at 7 East 42nd Street, is fashioned for sports fans who want a luxurious ambiance that transcends your traditional sports bar.
The sprawling T-Squared Social sits within the grand lobby of the Emigrant Savings Bank building, one of the United States’ oldest banks.
The T-Squared New York City encompasses a multi-faceted variety of activities, cuisine and drinks in the spacious restaurant with 24-foot open ceilings. T-Squared Social has four state-of-the-art Full Swing Simulators, four duckpin bowling lanes, 38 high-definition screens for television viewing and New York City’s largest flat-screen 200-inch T.V.
Personal touches from Tiger and Timberlake envelop the space, including large-format glossy photographs of Tiger on the golf course and Justin in concert. Adorning the walls are customized golf bags inscribed with their names and a selection of branded- merchandise and coasters etched with their signatures.
Back to St Andrews. Looks like after or before a few pops at “The Dunny” (Dunvegan Golfer’s Corner Hotel Bar) or Jigger Inn, TW and JT are rewarding us with another great 19th hole to celebrate after a great round or drown our sorrows if it was shank city in the Home of Golf.
