3. Lee Elder Honorary Starter

I met Lee Elder a few years ago at Hammock Beach Resort and he was one of the classiest gentlemen I’ve ever met in golf. He was truly a tremendous ambassador for our great game and I believe this honor will help impact golf for the greater good now and in the years to come.

4. Missed Cuts Galore

Seven of the Top 20 golfers in the world rankings missed the cut, including Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Patrick Cantlay.

5. Will Zalatoris Is Here to Stay

This kid has serious game. Wow, what a ballstriker.

6. Horschel Slip Slidin’ Away

Barefoot Billy went shoeless twice during this year’s Masters.

7. Rory McIlroy Nails His Dad With Wild Shot

Sorry about that, pops!

 8. Fab Holes-in-One

The scrappy Englishman aced the par-three 16th on Thursday to record the 32nd hole-in-one in Masters history. In round three on Saturday, Canadian Corey Conners made a hole-in-one on the par-three 6th.

9. Hilariously Dumb Nike Shirts

Not sure what the inspiration was for these ridiculous golf shirts. I suspect it was from the chalk lines police put around dead bodies at crime scenes.

10. Some Great Quotes

Amanda Balionis to Jon Rahm in clubhouse interview: “You’re going from chasing birdies to changing diapers.”

Jim Nantz: “Now for the first time, the land of the Rising Sun has a favorite son, wearing a green jacket”

Jim Nantz: “Japan rejoices. It’s a glorious new day.”

Xander Schauffele: “Sixteen, I really would have loved to have put more pressure on him there, but basically gave him the tournament at that point.”

Will Zalatoris: “Kind of the joke that I’ve been saying with my family is if I’m stupid enough to think I can play here, then I’m stupid enough to think I can win it.”

Hideki Matsuyama when asked if he was the greatest Japanese golfer ever: “I can’t say I’m the greatest, however, I’m the first (man) to win a major, and if that’s the bar, then I’ve set it.”

Jordan Spieth: “Hit some good putts and burned a lot of lips.”

Justin Thomas: “The (rain) delay yesterday (Saturday) really got to me. It just ruined all of the momentum I had going.”

Brooks Koepka when asked about missing the cut: “How Fu%^&kin disappointed do you think I am. I worked my ass off just to get here and then to play like this is pretty disappointing.”

Bryson DeChambeau: “I personally didn’t swing it that bad. It’s golf, man, not much else to say.”
