It is, however, a high-level match play golf that’s decidedly better than watching a snoozer, non-signature PGA TOUR event or sad sack LIV golfers trudging on a boring resort course with bankruptcy hanging over their heads.
The Presidents Cup, with it’s impressive rosters of American and International players, lacks in aura and status compared to the Ryder Cup, but at least it has more sizzle than that sleep inducing PGA TOUR Championship we just watched.

Thursday: 5 matches (four-ball or foursomes); Friday: 5 matches with the opposite format; Saturday: 8 matches including 4 four-ball plus 4 foursomes in morning and afternoon sessions; Sunday: 12 singles
HISTORICAL OVERVIEW: The U.S. has dominated the all-time serious 13-1-1. The U.S. trounced the Internationals in 2024 in Montreal 18.5 – 11.5. The Internationals lone wine was in 1998 in Australia.
TV COVERAGE: NBC and Golf Channel collaborate on the television broadcasts, with simultaneous streaming on Peakcock. Coverage is Thursday through Sunday.
BETTING ODDS: According to FanDuel Sportsbook Team USA is a -400 favorite, which is an implied probability of 80% of winning for the 13th straight time.
